Signpost has to transmit your submitted data to a wide variety of promotional resources. This can result in your receiving submission confirmation e-mails from some of these resources. While we will make all reasonable endeavours to minimize any unsolicited e-mail, we have no control over what happens to your data once submitted. Signpost adheres strictly to the following principles:
- Signpost will only submit your information to the promotional resources appropriate to
your submission. Details of these can be found here.
- Signpost submits only those fields required to make a successful submission.
- Where Signpost encounters a submission form containing an option to send e-mail to the submitter, it will set these to 'No' by default.
- Signpost offers a 'proxy e-mail' option. This allows submitters to instruct Signpost to send an e-mail address other than their own. However, there may be individual resources which require a unique e-mail address (e.g. for use as a password on an edit form). In these cases Signpost has to send your e-mail address (as part of your submission) regardless of the 'proxy e-mail' option.
- With the exception of the above, Signpost WILL NOT release any of your submitted information to anyone else.
